Testimonies

« We appreciated a lot the quickness of adaptation of our new provider, who allowed us to answer a turnover in strong growth and an important extension of the range and thus the logistic complexity. Past this first stage, essential for the durability of the relation, we approached with GOLS the other projects: IT interface, managed temperature, regional warehouses, international transport, customs clearance, indicators of management... Today, both companies learnt to know and to have a dialogue effectively. The transplant succeeded so much and so that we can say that GOLS is in a sense the continuation of Tropico in the logistic domain. »

Jean-François Kowalski, Logistic manager of Tropico

« Reitzel Briand was until this present day only in France on the market of the MDD. The marketing of national brands created very visible differences in term of logistics. So we thus decided, from the starting up of our project of buyout of the brands 'Olï' and 'Jardin d'Orante' to outsource all the physical flows and the flows of information, since the taking of command until the invoicing on customers.

For it we needed an actor knowing perfectly at the same time the organization, the logistics of the mass-market retailing, capable of accompanying us on the reflection of our organization, of setting up the interfaces EDI to receive the orders of the buying groups of the mass-market retailing, to open the produced codes, to manage the relation with production sites, to store products, set up a plan of national transport capable of delivering any national delivery point in 48 hours, and of invoicing our customers.

All this in two months because we made the final definitive decision in November, 2005 and because we want to be operational on January 1st, 2006.

Our choice quickly concerned to GOLS.

We needed a professional of logistics, reactive, proposition force, capable of accompanying us throughout this process and which allows us to concentrate on our heart of trade.

GOLS is a company with whom I had already collaborated and strategically, I did not see working with a "major" of the logistics to whom we would have been "a minor", with inverted constraints, that is to adapt itself to their organization.

GOLS knew how to, for a very short deadline, set up the technical, computing means and the human being allowing us to manage the follow-up of our products of the taking of command at the delivery to the customer.

Everything was ready at the end of December, 2005, the first supplies arrived last week of December and January 1st, 2006, faithful to our commitments, we were ready to deliver and to invoice our customers.

More the innovative technical solutions developed by GOLS are going to allow us to master perfectly our costs and to answer in a adapted and qualitative way the expectations of the mass-market retailing. »
